Graduation!!

My friend Kim, who owns PaperArtsy, an online papercraft store, is now selling copic markers. I had heard how wonderful they were but had not yet tried them. After completing her training to teach she offered us a 4 week starter class, which I gladly joined. It was great fun, and we learned so much (still so much more to learn!!) I am now waiting my tax return to purchase a few to start off with. With over 300 colours it is very hard to choose which ones to start with. On our last night of class we actually stamped up an image and coloured it. I got home and couldn't wait to put it together as a birthday card for my sister-in-law Patria, who is travelling overseas at the moment with her mother. So I photographed it so I could get it in the post asap. Here is my card. I love this image and you can order it from PaperArtsy (she has so many gorgeous stamps to choose from!!)

 Using the blender pen ink onto a face washer then patting the image we get this wonderful textured look of the fur!! How cool is that??

    Hi, Love your card and looks like you got the hang of the copics! Your colouring is fab. I am a Promarker fan but if i had the money spare i would like to get Copics too.
